Ground Beef Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and chop an onion, and sauté it in a pan with olive oil and half of the chopped parsley. Sprinkle with paprika and mix.
  • 2.   Chop the steaks using a fork. Add the onion mixture and the egg yolk. Mix well.
  • 3.   Shape the mixture into meatballs using your hands. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the meatballs for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 4.   Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: chop the other 2 onions and sauté them in a pan with the thyme leaves. Add the peeled tomatoes and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  • 5.   Pour the sauce over the meatballs. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with the remaining chopped parsley. Serve the ground beef meatballs in tomato sauce immediately.

  • 250 g of ground beef patty
  • 3 onions
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 240 g of canned peeled tomato
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 pinch of chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1 pinch of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
