Braised Carrots with Cardamom

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and finely chop the carrots and onions.
  • 2.   Heat the oil in a cast iron pot.
  • 3.   Place the carrots, onions, and cardamom seeds.
  • 4.   Stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the honey and 50 ml of water.
  • 5.   Cover and cook on low heat for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • 6.   The carrots should be tender.
  • 7.   If the carrots stick during cooking, add a little water.

  • 500 g of carrot
