Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the beef into very thin slices, then in a large bowl, add the soy sauce, Chinese yellow wine, and oil.
  • 2.   Then add the cornstarch and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • 3.   Cut the onions into thin slices.
  • 4.   Heat 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil in a sauté pan or wok, over medium heat, and add the beef, stirring with a spatula to separate the slices.
  • 5.   As soon as the meat starts to brown, remove the beef and keep the oil in the pan. Add the onions, optionally 2 tablespoons of water, then the dark soy sauce. The onions should be well browned. Then add the light soy sauce and stir.
  • 6.   When the onions start to soften, add the beef, then continue cooking for 2 minutes, stirring well. Add the pepper and serve immediately!

  • 200 g of sirloin steak
  • 200 g of yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Sherry vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of sunflower oil
