Caramelized Chicken with Broccoli

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  • 2.   Peel and slice the onion. In a wok, heat a drizzle of olive oil and sauté the onion. Add the sugar and a little water, reduce the heat and let it melt until it turns into caramel. Add the peeled and minced ginger, then the chicken. Pour in the soy sauce and agave syrup. Mix everything together and add a splash of water. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has reduced.
  • 3.   In a pot of salted boiling water, partially cook the broccoli. Add them to the wok and stir-fry the broccoli. They should remain crunchy. Serve hot.
