Chocolate Fondant

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the chocolate and butter into pieces and melt them together in a double boiler.
  • 2.   Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  • 3.   In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and applesauce. (you can substitute some or all of the sugar with applesauce or any fruit compote, and vice versa)
  • 4.   Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl and add the flour. Mix everything well until the batter is smooth.
  • 5.   Pour the batter into a greased and floured 24 cm (9-inch) diameter cake pan.
    Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, then remove from the oven immediately.

  • 100 g of unsweetened applesauce
  • 70 g of flour
  • 4 eggs
