Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the pumpkin into small pieces, steam or boil for 15 to 20 minutes until very tender.
  • 2.   Sauté the onions and pumpkin together in a pan.
  • 3.   Unroll a puff pastry sheet, spread the pumpkin filling on top, leaving a one-centimeter space on each edge, then cover with another puff pastry sheet, pressing firmly on the edges.
  • 4.   Brush the top with an egg yolk.
  • 5.   Bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F, Gas Mark 4).
