Chicken breasts with Saint Marcellin cheese

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the chicken breasts in butter in a skillet.
  • 2.   When they start to brown, add the button mushrooms.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, put the Saint Marcellin cheese and the heavy cream in a bowl. The cream should cover the Saint Marcellin.
  • 4.   Microwave the cream and cheese mixture on high for 2 minutes.
  • 5.   The Saint Marcellin cheese should start to melt.
  • 6.   Pour this mixture into the skillet with the chicken breasts and mushrooms.
  • 7.   Let simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes, until the Saint Marcellin cheese melts.
  • 8.   Season with salt and pepper and serve hot with plain rice or fresh pasta.
