Chickpea Stew with Tomatoes and Pearl Couscous

Instructions

  • 1.   Mix the chickpeas with cumin, cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. Sauté the minced onion and minced garlic for 10 minutes over low heat.
  • 2.   Add roughly chopped cherry tomatoes with 50 ml of water. Cover the pot and let simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt. Meanwhile, cook the pearl couscous according to the instructions on the package.
  • 3.   Add the chickpeas to the tomato mixture. Add the coriander to the sauce. Stir in the cooked pearl couscous. If necessary, season with a drizzle of olive oil.

  • ½ tablespoon of ground cumin
  • 2 onions
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 6 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 g of cherry tomato
  • 175 g of pearl couscous
  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander
