Chicken gratin à la bourguignonne

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the chicken thighs in a sauté pan.
  • 2.   Once golden brown, set them aside.
  • 3.   Sauté the onion and shallot.
  • 4.   Add the chicken thighs back in and let them cook for 10 minutes.
  • 5.   Add the white wine and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  • 6.   Add the cream, then the mustard. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 7.   Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8.   Meanwhile, sprinkle half of the gruyère cheese on the bottom of a gratin dish.
  • 9.   Pour in the chicken thighs and sauce.
  • 10.   Cover everything with the remaining gruyère cheese.
  • 11.   Broil until golden brown.

  • 20 cl of thick sour cream
  • 100 g of gruyère
