SPANISH-STYLE TURMERIC BROTH RICE

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and finely slice the onion on your work surface.
  • 2.   In a saucepan over medium heat with a little olive oil, lightly brown the onion.
  • 3.   Add the rice without rinsing it, then sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of turmeric.
  • 4.   Mix until the rice turns yellow.
  • 5.   In a bowl, dissolve the broth in 80 cl of boiling water.
  • 6.   Incorporate it into the rice and let it cook.
  • 7.   Feel free to add more broth if the rice is too crunchy.
  • 8.   When the rice is cooked, it should be slightly crunchy.
  • 9.   Pour 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce over it and mix.
  • 10.   Serve accompanied by grilled meat.
