Goat Cheese in Puff Pastry

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 210°C (410°F). Cut the log of goat cheese into 8 equal slices.
  • 2.   Using a glass, cut out 16 rounds from the puff pastry.
  • 3.   Place each slice of cheese on a puff pastry round.
  • 4.   Sprinkle with basil.
  • 5.   Cover with the remaining puff pastry.
  • 6.   Seal the edges of the small pastries.
  • 7.   Brush with egg yolk.
  • 8.   Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • 9.   Goes very well with a green salad.
  • 10.   Enjoy!
