Sandwich bread

Instructions

  • 1.   Put all the ingredients except the egg in the bowl of a stand mixer and knead for 5 minutes on low speed, then for 6 minutes on medium speed.
  • 2.   Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest for 1 hour.
  • 3.   Place the dough on a floured work surface and shape it into a long loaf.
  • 4.   Place it in a lightly greased loaf pan. Beat the egg, then brush the top of the bread with it.
  • 5.   Let it rest until the dough reaches 3/4 of the pan (about 1 hour), then brush it again with beaten egg.
  • 6.   Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 7.   Bake for 25 minutes.

  • 5 g of salt
  • 10 g of fresh baker's yeast
  • 1 egg
