Tomato, Avocado, and Smoked Salmon Tartare

I propose for tonight a tartare with fresh tomatoes, avocado, and smoked salmon, flavored with lime and basil. A simple, easy, and refreshing appetizer.

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and cut them into small cubes. Place in a colander to remove as much juice as possible.
  • 2.   Peel the avocado and cut it into small pieces. Place in a bowl and drizzle with lime juice.
  • 3.   Cut the smoked salmon into small dice. Finely chop the basil.
  • 4.   Add the salmon, tomatoes, and basil to the avocado. Lightly salt and sprinkle with Espelette pepper. Mix well. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  • 5.   Chill in the refrigerator.
  • 6.   Drain just before serving. For a nice presentation, use a ring mold to shape the tartare and garnish with a basil leaf.

  • 120 g of smoked salmon
  • 2 tomatoes
  • ½ limes
  • 1 stalk of fresh basil
  • 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
  • salt (according to taste)
