1. Preheat the oven to about 200°C (400°F), grill mode (feel free to adjust the temperature according to your oven).
2. Heat a large skillet with a little olive oil.
3. Add the bacon and cook until crispy (but not too much).
4. Meanwhile, clean 4 garlic cloves, remove the center, and crush them using a pestle and mortar (it gives more flavor).
5. Add the garlic to the skillet and stir well.
6. Lightly salt and pepper.
7. Then add the heavy cream and tomato paste alternately, making sure to mix well to make it homogeneous.
8. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water.
9. Add paprika and pepper (according to taste, but don't hesitate as it needs to enhance the flavor of the cream).
10. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the pasta to the sauce and mix gently (be careful not to break the pasta, it would be a shame).
11. Take an elongated gratin dish and pour the preparation into it, cover with slices of mozzarella and sprinkle with a little oregano.
12. Place in the oven.
13. Serve when the mozzarella has melted and browned to your liking.
14. If you're starving from waiting, feel free to prepare small pieces of baguette with a little garlic butter, mozzarella, and a touch of oregano.
15. Place them in the oven a few minutes before putting the dish in, it will make a simple and tasty appetizer, perfect for the meal.
