Chocolate molten cake

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • 2.   In a bowl, break the chocolate and cut the butter into pieces. Melt everything in a double boiler or in your microwave.
    Mix until you have a smooth sauce.
  • 3.   In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes pale.
  • 4.   Then, incorporate the chocolate-butter mixture, followed by the flour and baking powder.
    Mix until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter. Grease and flour a rectangular mold. Pour the cake batter into it.
  • 5.   Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Keep an eye on your cake as the baking time may vary depending on the size of your mold and your oven.
  • 6.   Once out of the oven, let your chocolate molten cake cool for a few minutes before unmolding it. Serve your chocolate molten cake warm or cold.
