Vanilla flan / vegan and without dough

A very practical flan recipe because it is ultra economical, and identical to the original (except for the sweet dough that I do not add, but if you feel like it, just prepare a slightly sweet shortcrust pastry, and spread it underneath before pouring the appliance, then cook everything together). You can adapt it to the flavors you like: The traditional vanilla of course (but not always the most economical flavor given the cost of good vanilla), but also coconut - lime (by replacing 40 cl of milk by a can of coconut milk and the zest and juice of 2 limes), with carob, orange blossom, diced pears, cinnamon ... in short, as often here, it's a very good base and you will arrange it!   • 1.   Boil half the milk
  • 2.   Mix the dry ingredients then the rest of the milk with the oil.
  • 3.   Whisk to homogenize.
  • 4.   Pour into the milk and whisk for about 3 minutes (cornstarch) to 4/5 minutes (flour) When the preparation has thickened, ...
  • 5.   pour into individual molds pdt 15min (or 25min) in the vitalizer (to be tested) Or In a round mold and bake in a hot oven for 25 minutes at 220 degrees.
  • 6.   Let cool then cool completely in the fridge before serving.
