Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish with oil.
2. Cook the pasta in a saucepan, then transfer it to a large bowl.
3. Grease a frying pan with oil and sauté the onions and peppers over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add to the pasta.
4. In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a boil. Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a bowl. Slowly pour the hot milk into the eggs while whisking continuously. Return the mixture to the saucepan and heat over medium heat until thickened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat. Add the chives, paprika, salt, and pepper. Then add the sauce to the pasta.
5. Add the tuna, mix well, and transfer to the baking dish. Bake until the top starts to brown (about 20 minutes).
Notes & Suggestions
If you're short on time, you don't have to sauté the vegetables in the frying pan. We did it to enhance the flavor, but it's not essential.
