Leek, Goat Cheese, and Bacon Quiche

Instructions

  • 1.   Roll out the dough in a buttered and floured pie dish.
  • 2.   Clean and slice the white parts of 3 leeks.
  • 3.   Brown the bacon, using the fat to sauté the leeks afterwards.
  • 4.   Spread the bacon and leeks on the bottom of the pie crust.
  • 5.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 6.   In a bowl, beat the eggs, cream, and milk. Season to taste, then pour the mixture into the pie.
  • 7.   Cut the goat cheese into slices and place them on top of the quiche.
  • 8.   Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
