Homemade Cordon Bleu
Better and more nutritious than the industrial version...and easy to make!

Instructions

. Step 1:

. Cut the chicken breasts in half without separating them.

. Flatten them using a rolling pin. Step 2:

. Season with salt, place a slice of ham on half of the breast, 2 slices of cheese, and close the breast.

. Repeat with the remaining breasts.

. Coat the breasts with flour and tap to remove the excess.

. Step 3:

. Beat an egg in a shallow plate, dip the cordon bleu on all sides, then coat them with breadcrumbs.

. Once the cordon bleu is breaded, cook them in a greased pan over medium-high heat for two minutes on each side.

. Finish cooking in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes.
