Oven-Baked Pork Chops with Pears and Parsnips

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Wash and peel the parsnips and pears. Cut them into pieces, then drizzle them with lemon juice. Set aside.
  • 3.   Melt a knob of butter in a sauté pan, then add a drizzle of oil. Brown the pork chops on each side. Then place them in an ovenproof dish.
  • 4.   Return the sauté pan to the heat and pour in 2 tablespoons of honey. Sauté the parsnips in it, then add them to the pork chops.
  • 5.   Arrange the pears around the pork chops, then place in the oven. Cook for 25 minutes.
