Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and finely chop the shallot. Cut the chicken fillets into pieces about 1 cm wide and 2 cm long. Remove the rind from the Maroilles cheese and cut it into large slices.
  • 2.   In a large skillet, melt the butter and sauté the shallots for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • 3.   Add the chicken pieces and sear them. Add the white wine, stir, and let it cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
  • 4.   Add the slices of Maroilles cheese and let it cook for another 10 minutes over low heat.
  • 5.   Stir, add the cream, and let it heat for a few minutes.
  • 6.   Pour the preparation into individual casseroles and serve immediately.

  • 1 shallot
  • 5 cl of liquid whole cream
  • 25 g of butter
