Hanger steak with shallots

Instructions

  • 1.   Slice the meat into 4 steaks. Cook them on the grill or in a pan with a little butter and oil, for more or less time depending on the desired doneness and the thickness of the meat. Keep the meat warm, covered with aluminum foil.
  • 2.   Melt 25 g of butter in the pan, scrape to loosen the cooking juices from the meat. Add the shallots.
  • 3.   Once they are melted, place them on top of the meat with the remaining butter cut into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper, and serve.
