Stuffed Endives

Enjoy this delicious winter vegetable topped with a béchamel sauce and gratiné.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (th.6). Cook the endives in boiling salted water for 20 minutes.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, prepare the béchamel sauce. Take a little milk and mix in the flour. Put the remaining milk in a saucepan with salt and pepper. Add the diluted flour. Let it thicken while stirring constantly. In a dish, layer the endives cut in half and ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with the remaining endives.
  • 3.   Pour the béchamel sauce over the top. Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes until gratiné.

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
