Tomato and Ginger Filet Mignon

Instructions

  • 1.   In a Dutch oven, heat the oil and brown the pearl onions. Cut the meat into large pieces and brown it until it is colored. Peel and slice the carrots. Sauté them with the meat. Cut the tomatoes into large pieces and add them to the Dutch oven.
  • 2.   In a blender, add the peeled garlic and ginger, ketchup, coriander seeds, and water. Blend until smooth. Add this mixture to the Dutch oven. Pour in the lentils, stir well, season with salt, and cover. Let it simmer for 1 hour. Add fresh thyme before serving.

  • 2 teaspoon of sunflower oil
  • 12 pearl onions
  • 400 g of pork tenderloin
  • 200 g of carrot
  • 700 g of tomato
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 25 g of fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander seed
  • 120 g of dry lentil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of water
