White cabbage and green bell pepper with ginger

Instructions

  • 1.   Grate the fresh ginger. Set aside.
    Sort the cabbage, wash it, and grate it. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds, and cut it into strips.
  • 2.   Blanch the 2 vegetables separately for 2 minutes in boiling salted water.
  • 3.   Peel the onions and garlic. Chop them and sauté them in hot butter. Add the drained cabbage and bell pepper. Let simmer.
  • 4.   Add the ginger, tomato paste, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar to the mixture. Moisten with vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
    Season with salt and pepper.

  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 teaspoon of fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 250 ml of vegetable broth
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
