Green beans carbonara
Cook the green beans "al dente". It's a change from pasta... Surprising and delicious.

Instructions

. Steam the green beans "al dente" like pasta.

. Cut the ham into thin strips.

. Melt the margarine gently in a pan, add the ham and cook gently for 5 minutes until golden.

. Add 3 tablespoons of fresh cream and heat for 2 minutes over low heat.

. Season with pepper and nutmeg.

. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the remaining tablespoon of fresh cream.

. Drain the green beans.

. Place them in the preheated serving dish and cover.

. Add the contents of the pan to the egg-cream mixture.

. Pour this mixture over the kept warm green beans and serve immediately.
