Pita bread

  • 1.   Dilute the baker's yeast in water with a pinch of sugar for 10 minutes.
  • 2.   Put the flour and salt in a bowl, mix well and add the water with the yeast, and knead until a ball forms.
  • 3.   Put the ball on the work surface and knead for 5 minutes. Oil the resulting ball and cover with cling film, let rise for at least 1 hour.
  • 4.   Divide the dough into 4 after removing the air, then spread it with a rolling pin.
  • 5.   Cook in a hot frying pan without fat for 3 to 5 minutes, turning the bread over.
