Chickpea Fritters

Instructions

  • 1.   In a glass bowl, put the chickpeas, cover them with water and let them soak for 48 hours. Change the water every day.
  • 2.   Drain the chickpeas, put them in the bowl of a food processor with the onion, garlic, parsley, bird's eye chilies, coriander, cumin, pepper, and eggs. Blend into a smooth paste. Incorporate the flour and baking powder.
  • 3.   Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
  • 4.   Shape the dough into fritters and fry them in small quantities in the hot oil until golden brown.
  • 5.   Serve with tomato sauce, according to your taste.

  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 25 g of parsley
  • 2 bird's eye chilies
  • 1 tablespoon of ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon of flour
  • 2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 frying oil
