Tuna and fennel pasta

The small aniseed taste of fennel goes wonderfully with tuna!

Course: Main course
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes


  • 1.   In a skillet, sauté the garlic and onion in olive oil.
  • 2.   Add the tomatoes cut into small pieces, and a tiny bit of water.
  • 3.   Add the fennel to the chopped branch and stir.
  • 4.   Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes and add the tuna crumbs.
  • 5.   Continue cooking for another 10 minutes and reduce.
  • 6.   Add the pepper and salt.
  • 7.   Cook pasta, twist, spaghetti, penne, according to your preferences, adding in the water, several sections of the base of the fennel branches.
  • 8.   Place the tomato, tuna and fennel sauce on the pasta and serve immediately.

  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 small white tuna in water canned
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 branch of dill
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 400 g of pasta
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
