Sausages with Lentils

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the sausages according to the instructions on the package. Set aside.
  • 2.   In the same rinsed pot, add a little butter or oil, sweat the onion, add the sliced carrot and bacon. Sauté for 5-10 minutes (depending on whether you like crunchy carrots or not).
  • 3.   Add the can of lentils. Let simmer gently for 5 minutes (or more).
  • 4.   Add the sausages.
    Serve.

    Better with fresh lentils rather than canned, but very good recipe!
