Baked Camembert

Camembert, one of the iconic cheeses of French heritage. With its velvety rind and its melting and creamy heart that we sometimes enjoy just tasting with a crispy baguette. Here, we offer you one of the oven-baked versions with this recipe for baked Camembert for your winter evenings by the fireplace. But you can also enjoy your Camembert on the barbecue for your summer meals.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Take the Camembert out of its box and remove the paper that surrounds it. Then place it back in its box. Score the crust in a cross shape, place the sprig of thyme on top and season with pepper. To cook this Camembert recipe, close the cheese in its wooden box and wrap it in aluminum foil for a steamed cooking. Place the Camembert in its box in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • 3.   Serve your warm Camembert with slices of bread and drizzle it with honey!
