Goat Cheese and Bacon Savory Cake

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2.   In a bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, add the eggs, then the oil and milk while whisking.
  • 3.   Cut the tomato into small cubes, removing the seeds, as well as the goat cheese.
  • 4.   Add them to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  • 5.   Sauté the bacon in a pan for 5 minutes.
  • 6.   Add them to the cake batter along with the chosen herbs.
  • 7.   Pour into a greased loaf pan, bake for 45 minutes. Monitor the end of cooking.
  • 8.   If necessary, cover with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Check for doneness with a dry knife blade.
