LEBANESE HUMMUS RECIPE - easy and ready in 10 minutes!

This Hummus is a delicious dip that is very easy to make at home. Hummus is a creamy paste made from cooked chickpeas, lemon juice, and tahini, which is served as an appetizer with pita bread.

  • 1.   Instructions:

    Drain the chickpeas (keep a small amount of chickpea water).

    Place the chickpeas in a blender, add the peeled garlic cloves, lemon juice, and tahini.

    Blend while gradually adding olive oil until you obtain a smooth and velvety paste. Season with salt and pepper.

    If you find the hummus too thick, thin it out with the reserved chickpea water.

    Before serving, sprinkle with cumin and paprika.

    Serve with pita bread.

  • 240 g of chickpeas (canned, drained weight)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon of tahin (organic store)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of ground cumin
  • 1 pinch of paprika
  • 1 handful of parsley
