Dhal (India) green lentils

Instructions

  • 1.   Sauté the onions in a little oil. When they are translucent, add a tablespoon of curry.
  • 2.   Stir and cook for 1 minute.
  • 3.   Add the lentils, potatoes, and carrots.
  • 4.   Cover generously with water and cook for about 40 minutes over medium heat, then low heat to allow the water to evaporate, stirring occasionally.
  • 5.   Season with salt at the end of cooking.

  • 1 onion
  • 2 glass of dry green lentil
  • 2 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
