Pumpkin Shepherd's Pie

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the potatoes and the pumpkin, remove the seeds and stringy part, then cut into pieces. Cook in a large pot of salted boiling water for about 20 minutes, then drain. A knife should easily go through the flesh of the vegetables.
  • 2.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 3.   Make a mash with the potatoes and pumpkin, add hot milk, salt, and pepper.
  • 4.   In a gratin dish, pour the mash, sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

  • 1 onion
  • 15 cl of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 handful of grated cheese
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
